One apartment is set aside for overnight assistance serving the High Physical Support residents, so support is in the building rather than on call from somewhere else. It works well for someone who wants their own front door without being isolated. Nineteen apartments means neighbours, and the shared spaces get used.
Blacktown Station is about 750m away, a major interchange on the T1 Western and T5 Cumberland lines with direct services to Parramatta, Penrith, Richmond and the city. Blacktown Hospital is roughly 2km away in an expanding health precinct. Westpoint, the civic precinct, TAFE and the aquatic centre are all within walking distance.
This is an enrolled SDA home in the High Physical Support and Improved Liveability design categories. The person's SDA funding pays for the home, and they pay a reasonable rent contribution.
