Refugee & Settlement Services
Warm, culturally safe support for refugees and newly arrived families finding their feet in Western Sydney, with an interpreter whenever you want one.

A familiar hand in a new place
Arriving in a new country is a fresh start, but it can also be overwhelming: a new language, new systems, and a long list of things to sort out while you are still finding your feet. We help newly arrived refugees and migrants settle with confidence, one step at a time.
We help with the practical first steps, from understanding services and appointments to connecting with your community, with an interpreter whenever you want one. We do it in a way that respects your faith, your culture and your dignity.

How we help you settle
Practical, respectful support, at the pace that suits your family.
Find your way
We explain how things work here, from Medicare to schools to transport, so daily life feels less confusing and more manageable.
Nothing lost in translation
Tell us the language you would rather use and an interpreter can join the conversation, so nothing gets lost in translation.
Connected to community
We link you with cultural, faith and community groups, so you build belonging and friendships, not just appointments.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an NDIS plan or visa status to get help?
Our settlement support is a community service for newly arrived people in our area. If you also live with disability, we can help you explore NDIS access separately. Call us and we will guide you.
Can you help in my language?
Yes. Tell us which language you want to use and an interpreter can join the conversation. You can also call TIS National on 131 450 and ask them to connect you with Crescent Care.
What kind of practical help can you offer?
We help with orientation, understanding local services, attending appointments, completing forms, and connecting with your community, all at a pace that suits you.
Need an interpreter?
Call TIS National on 131 450 at any time, and ask them to connect you with Crescent Care.
