Social Inclusion

Friendly programs that bring people together, ease isolation, and help everyone feel they belong, whether or not you have an NDIS plan.

Nobody should have to do life alone

Isolation creeps up quietly, after a health setback, a loss, a move to a new country, or simply when the people around you drift away. Our social inclusion work is here to push back against that, with welcoming spaces where you are known by name.

You do not need a diagnosis or a plan to take part. These programs are open to anyone in our community who wants connection: older people, newly arrived families, people with disability, carers who need a break, and neighbours who just want somewhere warm to land.

  • Community catch-ups
  • Shared meals and cultural events
  • Skill-sharing and hobby groups
  • Outings and local excursions
  • Volunteering opportunities
  • Warm referrals to other support

How we build belonging

Small, consistent moments of connection add up to a community that holds you.

Genuinely welcoming

Our groups are run to include, not exclude. Come as you are, at whatever pace feels right, and you will find a friendly face.

Led by the community

We listen to what locals actually want, then build the program around that, so what we put on is shaped by what people ask for.

A door to more

If you need extra help, we can gently connect you with the right NDIS or community support, without any pressure.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an NDIS plan to join?

No. Our social inclusion programs are open to everyone in the community, with or without an NDIS plan. If you would benefit from extra support, we can talk about that separately.

How much does it cost?

Give us a ring and we will talk you through what is on, what happens when you get there, and anything you would need to bring or pay. You will know all of it before you come, and there is nothing to sign up to.

Where do the programs run?

In community spaces around Liverpool and Western Sydney that are easy to reach by public transport. What is on changes, so call us and we will tell you what is coming up near you.

Need an interpreter?

Call TIS National on 131 450 at any time, and ask them to connect you with Crescent Care.
