Homelessness Assistance
Practical, respectful help for people facing homelessness or housing stress: someone in your corner while you work out the next step, and while you keep the home you have.

Everyone deserves a safe place to be
Losing your housing, or living with the constant fear of it, is exhausting and frightening. We meet people in that moment with practical help and genuine respect, never judgement. Whether you are sleeping rough, couch surfing, or one bill away from losing your home, you can talk to us.
We help you understand your options, get you through to the services that hold emergency and longer term housing, and deal with the paperwork and phone calls that feel impossible when you are in survival mode. And once you are housed, we help you stay housed, because keeping a tenancy is just as important as finding one.

How we help you through it
One step at a time, with someone beside you who knows the system.
Help when it is urgent
If you have nowhere safe to sleep tonight, call Link2home on 1800 152 152, any time of day. Tell us as well, and we aim to reply within 24 hours.
From crisis to stability
Once tonight is sorted, the work is the next six months. We stay with you while you look for stable, longer term housing you can settle into.
Keeping your home
Once you are housed, we help you manage tenancy, rent and the practical things that keep a home secure.

Frequently asked questions
I might lose my housing soon. Should I wait until it happens?
Please do not wait. It is far easier to keep a tenancy than to recover from losing one. Reach out as early as you can and we will help you act.
Do I need an NDIS plan for this support?
No. Homelessness assistance is a community service open to anyone in our area who needs it. If you also live with disability, we can connect you with NDIS support as well.
What should I do if I have nowhere to sleep tonight?
For immediate crisis accommodation in NSW, call Link2home on 1800 152 152, any time of day. Then contact us and we will help you plan your next steps.
Need an interpreter?
Call TIS National on 131 450 at any time, and ask them to connect you with Crescent Care.
